It was founded by Kamil Bystrick\u00fd, Andrej \u010eur\u00edk, Tom\u00e1\u0161 Pl\u00e1nka, and J\u00e1n \u0160imko, and from the beginning, it positioned itself as an independent scene with an emphasis on original and physical theatre. After the first productions, which were performed at home and at festivals abroad, a period of intensive collaborations with prominent directors and creators followed.<\/p>\n<p>With Eduard Kudl\u00e1\u010d, the productions Angle (2003) and Redirected (2005) were created, pushing the boundaries of experimental theatre, and later also the original Monodrama (2024). In 2002, the theatre joined forces with Tom\u00e1\u0161 Hudcovi\u010d for the production of Little Red Riding Hood, which is still being performed today. In 2025, a collaboration with Czech director Jakub Folvar\u010dn\u00fd was added, resulting in the educational production Grandfather&#8217;s Era I, dedicated to the topic of electricity.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, Koloma\u017e was renamed to Dogma Theatre, opening a new era of creation. This was followed by titles such as Europeana &#8211; A Brief History of the 20th Century (2017), the happening Local (2017), monodramas Visegrad &#8211; 1 (2018) and Conservative (2019), children&#8217;s performance This is Theatre! (2019), and original productions Sovereigns (2021), Re:capitulation (2021), Binding Output (2022), Stupid Jano in the Net (2023), and Lorem Ipsum (2024).<\/p>\n<p>The year 2025 brought not only a new production but also an expansion of the theatre&#8217;s activities with a residency program, which Dogma Theatre oversees at Dru\u017eba Drama Studio.
